Creating an online photo book saves the hassle of having to print digital photos. To begin, upload photos to a website that can help you create the perfect photo book. This is great for new moms because you do not need to leave the comfort of your home. So, while baby is taking a nap, you can be uploading photos and designing pages in your baby book.
Most new moms cannot wait to create the perfect baby book. Choosing the perfect paper to complement the pictures and time of year are just a few ways to personalize the book.

However, many new moms also experience sleep deprivation and endless cycles of feeding and diapering. One way to more easily create a unique baby book is to create photo books online.
It can be overwhelming to create an entire baby book in one sitting. Many people recommend working on one month or one season at a time. Using an online program can help facilitate this. For example, you can upload pictures each month, arrange them in the book and save the project. When the baby turns 1 year old, you will have a completed baby book that is ready to print.
Another advantage of creating an online baby book is the degree of customization available. People wishing to spend more time on the book have limitless opportunities for creativity. People wanting to create the book with ease can do so with one of the many templates. With a photo book template, you can choose the overall theme of the book, and the background of the pages will be set to work together in that theme. You can also customize the number of pictures and the size of the pictures on each page. The size and style of font is another feature that you can alter. All of the these features allow you to find the perfect fit for your you and your baby.
Another element of customization is the ability to edit your photos. Photos can be set in black in white. This creates an interesting effect especially when the photo is placed on a black background. Other editing features include cropping a photo and setting it on an angle. The advantage of doing this digitally is that your original photo is still preserved. You are able to save the edited version of the photo without ruining the original. This degree of customization is simply not possible with traditional baby books.
Creating an online baby book allows you to easily create gifts. With many people today using digital cameras, relatives and friends rarely see an actual photo other than on a phone or camera screen. With the traditional scrapbook, duplicating the pages and photos would be nearly impossible even though grandparents would love a copy of the baby book. With a digital photo book, this type of gift is possible. Furthermore, after the photographs are uploaded to the website, you can easily make additional prints of each picture or use the images to create photo gifts, which might include stretched canvases or photo calendars.
Becoming a new mother brings with it many joys and a few tribulations. Creating the perfect baby book should not be a cause of stress. Just the opposite, creating an online baby book will be fun and will allow you to showcase your growing baby to friends and family. Working month by month on the book will allow you to have a finished product in no time. A unique and personalized photo book is the right choice in the age of digital photography.
5 Unique Photo Book Ideas:
1. A year of holidays & special occasions: Skip the everyday and just showcase all the festivities from a calendar year. Be sure to include the silly little “Hallmark holidays,” too. This is an especially popular theme for grandma. Also makes a cute book to teach seasons to your little ones.
2. Personality profiles: Gather photos of your kid in all their may moods: Happy, silly, sad, sleeping, tantrum-ing, laughing. I love my book like this from the toddler years when they are truly little characters.
3. Sibling love: Gather all your best photos of the kiddos in family clusters. I easily could have made an album filled with photos of my girls cuddling, playing together, goofing off together, etc. Showcase their relationship over time.
4. Summer list: Is your family working through a summer bucket list? Document the fun with photos to put in a season-end summary book. Check out my tips on summer photography here.
5. Family favorites: An adorable snapshot in time of your family could include shots of your favorite: places to go, things to do, foods to eat, go-to outfits & accessories, important friends, anything and everything that is most important to your family right now.
The hardest part of knowing where to even begin with my photo book was deciding which photos I wanted to include and what the theme of the book should be! I’m too Type A to just toss a bunch of recent ones in and call it good. If I’m going to take the time to design it and print it out, it needs to be a “project”!
As I looked through my photo library, I found several clusters of photos that would make super fun themes. If you’re looking for your own inspiration, you could start with one of these suggestions.
